Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Terminal Dojo ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

2. What the Service is

Terminal Dojo is an educational platform that trains command-line and cybersecurity-tooling recall through typed exercises, spaced repetition and progress tracking. It teaches command syntax and defensive/offensive concepts for educational purposes on described or sandboxed scenarios — it does not grant access to any third-party system.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a real, accessible email address and keep your password confidential.
• You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Accounts are for individual use. Team/Campus plans may add members under your organisation's agreement.

4. Acceptable use

Some content teaches offensive-security tool syntax (scanning, credential testing, etc.). You agree to use anything learned here only against systems you own or are explicitly authorised to test — see the Acceptable Use Policy for details. We may suspend accounts we reasonably believe are using the Service to plan unauthorised activity against real systems.

5. Subscriptions & billing

• Paid plans renew automatically for the billing period you chose until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from Settings; you keep access until the end of the paid period.
• Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store your card details.
• Prices may change with notice; changes apply from your next renewal.
• Refunds: in full within 14 days of your first payment. See the Refund Policy.

6. Content & intellectual property

Missions, explanations and the command library are owned by Terminal Dojo or its licensors. You may not scrape, redistribute or resell the content. Your own submitted inputs (the commands you type) remain yours; we process them to grade your attempt and, in de-identified form, to improve error explanations for other learners.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is." We do not guarantee any specific exam, certification or job outcome. Command syntax, tool behaviour and best practices can change after publication — always verify against current official documentation before using a command against a real system.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Terminal Dojo is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy.
