Refund Policy
Draft version — last updated 2026-09-27. Not yet reviewed by a lawyer; do not treat as final before a real launch.
1. Who you pay
Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle charges your card, sends your receipt and handles refunds; Terminal Dojo never sees your card details.
2. Full refund within 14 days of your first payment
If Terminal Dojo isn't right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of the first payment of a subscription (Operator, or Squad for teams) and you get the full amount back. No questions asked.
3. Renewals and cancelling
- Subscriptions renew automatically. Cancel any time before the renewal date and you won't be charged again.
- To cancel: Pricing → Manage subscription (Paddle’s customer portal), or the “Manage subscription” link in Paddle’s receipt email. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
- Renewal payments are not refundable, except where the law of the country you live in requires it.
4. How to ask for a refund
Go to paddle.net (or use the link in Paddle’s receipt email), find your order with your email address and choose the refund option. The money goes back to the original payment method; your bank may take a few business days to show it.
5. What happens to your account
A refunded subscription is also cancelled, and your account returns to the free Cadet plan. Nothing is deleted: your XP, belt, streak and completed missions stay on your account.
6. Teams (Squad)
For team plans, the team owner who bought the seats asks for the refund. The same 14-day rule applies to the team’s first payment.
7. Your legal rights
This policy adds to, and never reduces, the rights the consumer law of your country gives you. Where that law gives you more (for example a statutory withdrawal right), the higher level of rights applies. Paddle’s Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
